The first Tavuk Dünyası restaurants were opened in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2012. The brand quickly expanded, and by 2018, it had become the country's "number one chicken-focused restaurant chain." Today, Tavuk Dünyası has grown to over 300 restaurants across 54 cities in Turkey. This success was further strengthened in 2015 by a strategic investment from Mediterra Capital Partners, one of the leading equity firms in the country. Mediterra Capital Partners now holds a majority share in Tavuk Dünyası.
